Ira Pope Sage
Bio:
Ira Pope Sage is a Las Vegas–based hairstylist and global educator whose career began in Michigan in 1994. With a background that includes A Robert Cromeans Salon and more than a decade as a Global Educator with Paul Mitchell, Ira has traveled internationally, teaching haircutting and creative technique to professionals worldwide.
Recognized for his innovation and artistry, Ira has been named Top Hairdresser by Vegas Life Magazine, honored as one of Be Magazine’s Top 50 Platform Artists, featured on a Winn Claybaugh Masters CD, and awarded the Uncensored Beauty Icon Award by the Midwest Hairstyling Awards. He is also a Southwest Hairstyling Awards finalist for both Asian Hairstylist of the Year and Hairstylist of the Year.
Ira is known for his expressive yet functional approach to haircutting and for developing the Clock Cutting Method, a visual system that brings structure, clarity, and creativity to the cutting process. Now working as an independent artist and educator, he offers hands-on education through his signature class, Foundations: Perspective is Key, helping hairdressers strengthen their technical foundation while expanding their creative perspective.
