What is IBS Las Vegas?
IBS Las Vegas is a trade show for members of the professional beauty industry. The show is for beauty professionals only and is not open to the general public. The show’s main objective is to educate, in effect opening new doors for beauty professionals.
IBS is only open to licensed beauty professionals and currently enrolled cosmetology students and educators. All attendees will be asked to present a photo ID along with one of the following credentials:
- Cosmetology License
- Salon/Spa Business License
- Business card
- Letter from owner of salon or spa
- W-2 Form
- Invoice from professional beauty product distributor
- Student I.D. Cosmetology School business or state license
- Other appropriate license(s) denoting one as a member in the professional beauty industry
- Students attending a certified beauty school can also attend, with proper identification.
*No one under the age of 15 is allowed on the show floor or in classrooms, including infants in strollers.
How can I purchase tickets and how much are tickets?
Our 2021 registration has not opened yet. Once registration opens, you can purchase tickets via our website.
Will I be mailed my badges and ticket(s) before the show?
No. In order to expedite orders and do our part to save some trees, we will NOT mail any show credentials to attendees before the show – they will all be given to you at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Simply bring a copy of your confirmation letter to an Express Check-In Counter (either print it out or show it to us on your smart phone). Your credentials will be given to you at this time (this includes your badge/wristband and any additional daily exhibit hall tickets and workshop/class tickets you may have purchased).
Are CEU Credits available for attending classes?
IBS Las Vegas does not offer CEU credits. However, we can provide you with a certificate noting how many class hours were completed at the conference. This certificate can be taken to your state board, and the board will decide whether or not they will award you CEU credits. If you are interested in obtaining a certificate please visit the Show Office onsite or email show management by clicking here.
Are refunds obtainable for the 2020 show?
Refunds less a $25 processing fee will be granted if requested in writing no later than May 20, 2020 and emailed to [email protected] for the 2020 show. Refunds are not available post-show.
What should I do if I forget or lose my ticket?
If your ticket is lost, forgotten or stolen, you will be required to purchase another one.

Am I allowed to bring my roller-bag on the show floor?
IBS Las Vegas offers a bag and coat check available to all attendees, located in the registration area. Please leave your roller-bags at the bag check, as they are not permitted on the Show Floor. If you have a medical condition which requires you to use a roller bag, please bring an official medical note with you and bring the note to the Information Booth for validation. The information booth is located in the Grand Concourse Lobby adjacent to the entrance to the bag check, just out of Bag Check.
What classes are offered at BS Las Vegas?
Included with your one day ticket are nail, hair, product, men's grooming, barber, makeup and business classes, taught by talented industry professionals. Also available, for an additional fee, are Hands-on Workshops, Summits and Business classes, which offer a more extensive and tactile experience. The show’s inspiring Main Stage offer presentations by renowned artists. We will be posting our conference schedule in 2021!
